Today I'm having a sleep over with my sister's friends who are like family to us. First, we woke up really late and prepared for them to come. This meant organizing snacks, drinks, and preparing to go to the pool. Once the girls started filing into our home, we all got ready to go to the pool. We spent time at the pool for quite a while playing, hanging out, and having fun in each other's company. After the pool we went to Dairy Queen and got some sweet or savory things before the real dinner which my mom made. It was absolutely delicious. There were potstickers, buffalo dip, Cesar salad, and Mexican street tacos. Now we are just hanging out and playing games.
I love having the girls over because it makes me happy and socialize even though I'm an introvert. I believe that sleepovers are a great way to hang out and do fun things with friends.
